I got back to the States just in time for this amazing and inspiring wedding. Jon and Jessi are such a perfect couple— they are two world changers coming together to do even more than they could alone. And they’ve done a lot. 

Jon fell off a 70 foot cliff in India 7 years ago that left him paralyzed from the neck down. Rather than giving up, Jon created a documentary and a non-profit organization ESCIP to empower others with spinal cord injuries to live independent lives. 

Jon and Jessi’s love story began when Jessi, a physical therapist from Colombia, found Jon’s videos about the various techniques he uses to get around in his wheelchair. She contacted him, and the rest is history! As she told me their love story, she became teary-eyed and overcome with emotion just thinking about how much they have supported and strengthened each other during their mostly long-distance relationship.
