| This bridal shower was extra special because Rebecca is my sister-in-law. Rebecca’s friends and family in Fargo and from all over the world (Canada, Guyana, Malawi-- just to name a few) threw such a cute and fun-filled party with such an intimate group of people. |

Hanging out with Rebecca’s close friends was was so much fun, despite being in the middle of nowhere... in Fargo, North Dakota (just kidding- Fargo was actually a very friendly and fun place!). The girls did such an amazing job planning this cute tea party-themed bridal shower. There were deserts, tea, coffee… and even home-made sushi! I probably had at least five servings. |

We played games that made everyone laugh until their cheeks hurt. The girls asked Rebecca’s then-fiancé Edwin to answer some questions about him, her, and their relationship together. At the bridal shower, the girls asked Rebecca these same questions, and for each question that her answer differed from Edwin’s, she had to take something off—how scandalous! …except that Rebecca was wearing many bracelets, rings, hats, and more. We all still got a good laugh out of the game, though. |

A few absolutely precious moments stick out in my mind. Rebecca’s response to “What is Edwin’s secret talent?”…“Vacuuming.” |

And of course, the inevitable question, “How many kids do you two want to have?”... ”At least 6!!!” The look on her mom’s face was priceless: |

We also formed two groups and created “wedding dresses” out of toilet paper, and asked Rebecca to judge which dress she liked the most. The dresses turned out to be so stylish that Rebecca couldn’t decide—she called it a tie! |

| It was so awesome to see so much joy and laughter—I was so privileged to have been able to come celebrate with Rebecca and her friends and family on such an important occasion in her life. |
